Dr. Kabani has been practicing since 2007 in various health care settings. She started off in a massage therapy clinic, then moved over to working in a walk in clinic with 2 family physicians. From there, she evolved her practice in a naturopathic clinic, then embarked on a new journey in a Calgary spa. Dr. Kabani was also a clinical supervisor for third and fourth year interns at the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine in New Westminster for 2 years. From 2012 to 2015, Dr. Kabani worked as a Naturopathic Doctor at Pure North S'Energy Foundation where they emphasize the importance of preventive medicine and optimal dosing of Vitamin D.
After two years of maternity leave and then her first year with her nurturing her twins, she took a leap of faith and decided to open up her own practice which is now Seton Integrative Health Clinic in the Seton Professional Building, and the satellite location inside Mahogany Medical Clinic, in the Mahogany Urban Village.
During Dr. Kabani's growth and experience, she has gained extensive clinical experience helping people with various conditions. Particularly, she has helped people with acne of all kinds (cystic, dry, hormone related), anemia, allergies, food intolerances, chronic degenerative disorders, hormone imbalances, digestive disturbances and menstrual related disorders, including optimizing fertility. She also gains referrals from other health care practitioners for chronic cases that need more support and guidance on nutrition and anti-inflammatory healing techniques.
Dr. Kabani uses a combination of clinical diagnostic tests, observational signs, a full past medical and social history, and an intake on the present emotional state to get to know the individual in front of her.
Tests used to diagnose: Salivary Hormone Testing, Heavy
Metal Urine Analysis, regular blood tests recommended by your MD, and
food sensitivity testing and muscle testing.
Dr. Kabani also understands the importance of DNA methylation issues and offers an extensive genetic test through Genomix Nutrition. This test identifies up to 55 scientifically validated genetic protein variations which identify sites of metabolic weakness. These key proteins are involved in enzyme conversion, nutritional delivery and signaling pathways in the cell. Overcoming these metabolic weaknesses with the right supplements and dietary guidance allows a person to overcome their genetic weaknesses and maintain optimal health. Those who should consider this test are those individuals who have been diagnosed with being on the Autism Spectrum, ADHD, or ADD, infertility, for those parents who are concerned about vaccine safety in their child, autoimmune conditions, and for those patients who have not received a clear diagnosis for their condition.
Based on this information Dr. Kabani will make a Naturopathic diagnosis and recommend safe and effective treatments like whole
food nutrition plans, functional food additions, supplements,
acupuncture, herbs, homeopathy, lifestyle medicine and intravenous
